The 2023 PGA Championship, the second major of the year, kicks off Thursday morning with the first round at Oak Hill in New York. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 of the PGA Championship on TV or online.

Previewing PGA Round 1

Though he’s put together a handful of great seasons, Jon Rahm is having his best year yet on the course. The World No. 1 has already captured four PGA Tour wins, including his first Masters title and second major win last month.

Now Rahm is ready to complete the second step of the single-season grand slam, and the third leg of his career grand slam, at the PGA Championship at Oak Hill.

World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler is also playing well and rivaling Rahm as the favorite in oddsmakers’ eyes, while multiple major winners Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth and defending champion Justin Thomas are just as hungry for a win.

You can stream the first round of the PGA Championship via ESPN+ beginning early in the morning and lasting all day long, or you can watch the telecast on ESPN starting at 1 p.m. ET.
