Nelly Korda shared an exciting life update this past Friday: the 15-time LPGA winner is engaged. She announced the news in an Instagram post captioned, “In this life… & the next,” complete with a ring emoji and photos of Korda alongside her fiancé, Casey Gunderson.
Shortly after posting the statement on social media, Korda’s comments were flooded with congratulatory messages from some of the biggest names in golf and sports, including Michelle Wie, Lexi Thompson, Justin Rose, Caitlin Clark, LeBron James and many others.
Korda’s sister, six-time LPGA Tour winner Jessica Korda, also chimed in with a playful note: “Sorry boys, she’s off the market.”
The engagement is a momentous way to cap off Korda’s 2025 season. While a win eluded her this year, she put together one of the LPGA Tour’s most consistent campaigns, finishing the season without a single missed cut. She notched nine top-10 finishes, including seven top-5s, highlighted by a strong closing third place at the CME Group Tour Championship.
While a win eluded her in 2025, Korda noted that the winless campaign reinforced the importance of having a close group of people around you who you can lean on when things aren’t going your way.
“I would say that you receive a lot more criticism when you’re on top of the game, and having a tight-knit circle, you’re very grateful for the people you have around,” Korda said. “The circle does get a little smaller, but I think I have an amazing circle. I would say I’m extremely, extremely lucky for the people that I have around me. At the end of the day, the life that we live and performing in front of people, it is super important to have that stability in your life.”
With a remarkable season of steady performance behind her and a joyous personal milestone to celebrate, Korda closes out 2025 on a high note — both on and off the course.
