Men’s Olympic golf field: The 60 players qualified for Paris

Major season might be over for the men in 2024, but there’s still a prestigious title up for grabs. The Olympic golf competition for Paris starts this Thursday, and every player in the 60-man field will be looking to take home the gold.

The most recent gold-medal winner on the men’s side, Xander Schauffele, returns to the Olympics to defend his title and he heads to Le Golf National in excellent form. The 30-year-old arrives in Paris fresh off his second major win of the summer after a clinical performance at the Open Championship as he looks to become the first back-to-back gold-medal winner in Olympic golf history.

To claim that prestigious honor, Schauffele will have to get past a stout field of competitors. Among the 60-man field are Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Aberg, Jon Rahm, Joaquin Niemann and a host of other talented pros.
