Masters cut rules
The cutline at the Masters is a little different from other majors. The PGA Championship and Open Championship only reduce the field to the top 70 (and ties) after 36 holes, while the U.S. Open cuts the field to the top 60 (and ties). At Augusta National, the field gets chopped even farther.
At the conclusion of 36 holes, only the top 50 (and ties) will stick around for the weekend, making the Masters cut one of the smallest in all of golf.

With the conclusion of play just after 7 p.m. ET, the cut was officially made at four over par, with 54 players making the cut. Check out below for a list of notables who won’t be around for the weekend.
