Tiger Woods collected his 15th major win on Sunday at the 2019 Masters. It was an emotional day for golf fans who grew up watching him, but most of all, it was an emotional day for Tiger.
There was a time, not long ago, where retirement seemed like the most foreseeable option for Tiger. There were serious doubts about whether he could ever play professional golf again. It was a long road back — from barely being able to walk to slipping on that green jacket on Sunday — but he did it. Hard work and dedication, all in a never-ending pursuit of the same goal he’s been chasing since he was child.
