Lydia Ko is back on the market for a swing coach.

According to Golf Channel’s Randall Mell, Ko has parted ways with Ted Oh, who she has worked with for little more than a year.

“We just mutually decided that it was time,” Ko told Mell, which he included in a tweet. “We ended on good terms…I have a lot to thank Ted for. He gave me a really solid blueprint simplifying my swing.”

“It was time,” Oh told Mell. “I still love the girl, and we still talk.”

Ko and Oh began working together around the beginning of 2018, and the partnership was able to get Ko back into winning form. The now-22-year-old broke a winless streak with a victory at the 2018 LPGA Mediheal Championship in April.

At the time, Ko and Oh were both relieved their hard work had lead to a championship. But as has proven to be the case with Ko, work relationships don’t last forever. When Ko initially made headlines bringing Oh on to her team in 2018, it also came with news of a new caddie.

According to Mell’s report, there is no rush to fill the position.
