This fan favorite is our long-shot pick to win at Harbour Town: 2023 RBC Heritage odds

At this week’s 2023 RBC Heritage, we’re putting our long-shot money on a young phenom who already has two wins in his career. Here’s our pick, the betting favorites and everything else you need to know for the week.

RBC Heritage odds: Long-shot bet

This week’s tournament at Harbour Town is a designated event featuring a purse of $20 million and a star-studded field. With so many good players teeing it up, these weeks are tough for long shots to breakthrough, but anything can happen over 72 holes of golf.

If you’re still looking for a player who could beat the odds and earn you some cash, we suggest 20-year-old Tom Kim. Kim is in the middle of just his second season on the PGA Tour, but he started off his career with a bang, winning the 2022 Wyndham Championship in August and the Shriner’s Children’s Open in October.

So far this season, he’s collected three top-10s and finished T16 at last week’s Masters. Kim’s odds were much longer to begin the week, but since have improved to +3500. Given that the best players in the world are in the field, though, +3500 fits the long-shot bill.

If you bet just $10 on Kim to capture his third PGA Tour title this week and he succeeds, you’ll earn $350. For less risk or an insurance bet, it’s worth placing modest bets on Kim to finish top 10 or top 20.

How last week’s long shot fared

At last week’s Masters, we took PGA Tour veteran Tommy Fleetwood as our long-shot pick at +6600. Fleetwood played well enough to make the cut at Augusta National, but no one was able to overcome World No. 1 Jon Rahm and his date with destiny

In the end, Fleetwood faltered on the weekend with back-to-back 74s to finish in solo 33rd at three over.
