We had to wait a few extra months, but the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is finally upon us. Here’s what you need to know to watch the first round.

Previewing KPMG Women’s PGA Round 1

The Covid-19 pandemic may have disrupted the LPGA Tour season, but golf fans will still be treated to four women’s majors this year, albeit rescheduled ones. The third of those majors comes this week with the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA.

KPMG Women’s PGA has different look and feel, but field’s mission remains the same
By: Zephyr Melton

The host course for this year’s Women’s PGA is Aronimink Golf Club. The famed course located in Newtown Square, Penn., has hosted several PGA Tour events, including the 1962 PGA Championship. It should prove to be a tough test for the best players in the world.

The two players who have already captured majors this year — Mirim Lee (ANA Inspiration) and Sophia Popov (AIG Women’s Open) — will both be competing as major champions for the first time. They’ll have their work cut out for them facing a strong field featuring star players like Brooke Henderson, Nelly Korda, Danielle Kang, Sung Hyun Park and Lexi Thompson, to name just a few.

Below you will find everything you need to watch the first round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship on Thursday.

How to watch KPMG Women’s PGA Round 1 on TV

The opening round of the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will be televised by Golf Channel, which will air four hours of coverage on Thursday, 1-5 p.m. ET.
