WATCH: Kevin Kisner hilariously calls out Tiger Woods for snubbing him with captain’s picks

November 9, 2019

Kevin Kisner will not go quietly, Captain Tiger Woods.

Kisner, the No. 33 player in the world, clearly isn’t too thrilled with being passed up for a captain’s pick for the Presidents Cup. With a little lift from Barstool Sports, Kisner gave Woods an expletive-filled shoutout for not picking him to join the American team in Australia.

After making a 15-footer and performing a beautiful putter drop in victory, Kisner went off in a hilarious way. “Let’s f—-ing go! When it’s time to f—ing win, what does Kiz do? He f—ing wins! Tiger, where you at on that pick? F—k.”

Kisner has a historically-great match play record in singles matches at the WGC-Match Play, including a victory in the event earlier this year. But Woods saw more promise in himself and three others (Tony Finau, Patrick Reed and Gary Woodland) as captain’s picks. At the 2017 Presidents Cup, Kisner went 2-0-2 during a dominant American victory.

But that isn’t quite good enough to crack the loaded American squad. Eleven of the team’s 12 players are ranked higher than the highest-ranked player from the International team (Adam Scott). And if Captain Woods’ post-picks presser was any indication, Kisner isn’t even the next many up. Woods said that leaving off Rickie Fowler was his most difficult decision to make. Which raises an important question considering the health of Brooks Koepka. If Koepka isn’t able to play, Fowler seems like the next man up. But could Kisner’s record speak for itself? We’ll have to wait and see. The Presidents Cup gets underway in one month at Royal Melbourne.
