Anthony Kim’s return
Earlier this season, LIV Golf added two big names in Tyrrell Hatton and Jon Rahm, the latter the league’s splashiest signing since it snagged Cameron Smith after he won the 2022 Open Championship.
Now, Kim joins the mix. He hasn’t played competitively since 2012, but more than a decade ago he was a lightning rod on the PGA Tour, displaying a youthful brashness and fresh personality many in the golf world fell in love with. Then, he was gone, for more than a decade.
Last month GOLF.com reported he was mulling a comeback, and now he returns this week. Kim is grouped with Smith and Graeme McDowell for the first round and will start on the 18th hole. And yes, he’ll have plenty of eyes on him.
