The third round of the 2023 Players Championship begins on Saturday at TPC Sawgrass in Florida, but first several players need to finish their second rounds Saturday morning. Here’s what you need to know to watch all the Saturday action at the Players on TV or online.
Previewing Players Saturday
Many players went low in the opening round of the Players, but Friday was a completely different story. Storms and lighting-fast greens caused scores to soar.
Collin Morikawa grinded through 11 holes at one over, which kept him in contention at six under for the tournament. But Morikawa was forced to stop playing when thunderstorms rolled through TPC Sawgrass Friday night, suspending play for the day. At the time, Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Adam Svensson shared the lead at eight under, though neither player had finished their rounds.
All of those players will return to TPC Sawgrass to complete their second rounds Saturday morning, with play resuming at 7 a.m. ET. Golf Channel will air TV coverage of the conclusion of Round 2, after which the cut will be made and tee times for Round 3 determined. Once that is done, the third round can begin.
You can stream the third round of the Players Championship via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET on Saturday, or you can watch the telecast on Golf Channel at 7 a.m. ET and NBC starting at 1 p.m. ET.
