Here’s how much money Tiger Woods has earned per round in his career (hint: a lot)

November 14, 2019

When Tiger Woods won the Zozo Championship last month — and cashed a check for $1.755 million — it put him over $120 million in career earnings.

The AP’s Doug Ferguson recently crunched the numbers, and that means Woods has earned a ridiculous $95,603 for every round he’s played as a pro.

Woods’ exact total is $120,459,468, which is $30 million more than the second player on the career earnings list, Phil Mickelson, who’s banked $90,761,239. And, as Ferguson notes, Jack Nicklaus remains at $5.7 million, which is 286th on the list all time. (At least Nicklaus has everyone else in the major category.)

It will be quite some time before we see Woods add to his lucrative earnings total. He won’t get any official money for his next two appearances — the Hero World Challenge and the Presidents Cup — and we likely won’t see him tee it up in another tournament until January, or otherwise February, since he’s already committed to The Genesis Invitational Feb. 13-16.
