Cameron Smith picked a good year to win his first Players Championship title. Along with all the status and exemption benefits that come with the win (not to mention the Gold Man trophy), Smith’s win comes with a pretty nice payday.
The Players Championship purse reached a record-high this year, increasing to $20 million — easily the largest amount doled out for any regular season PGA Tour event — with the winner taking home $3.6 million. Those numbers smash the previous record-high of $15 million and $2.7 million for the winner, which was set last year.
But how much did the rest of the field come away with? Well, they all earned a pretty great payday, too. Check out below for the complete payout list for each player who made the cut at the 2022 Players Championship.
