AUGUSTA, Ga. — Good news, golf fans! This is your yearly reminder to apply for 2024 Masters tickets. In case you are watching the 2023 version of the Masters right now and are hoping to snag your lucky ticket for Augusta National next year, I’m here to tell you how you do it.
First off, it’s a lottery process. Now scribble a note down on your wall or desk calendar or create a reminder on your phone: the date is June 1.
That’s when you can first apply for the lottery. Go here, log in or create your account and fill in the necessary fields. If you are a new applicant, you can actually sign up for an account now to get ready, but then you have to wait like everything else to apply.
The 2024 lottery process is open from June 1-20, and you can apply for practice rounds, tournaments rounds or both and for a certain number of tickets based on the day. Ticket prices will be announced when the lottery opens, but for 2023 it was $100 for practice rounds and $140 for tournament rounds.
It’s usually around mid-July when lucky patrons (and unlucky patrons) are notified if they won or lost the lottery, and according to the Masters website those who won will have from July 20 to Aug. 10 to submit their payments and claim their tickets.
So that’s it. Create an account if you haven’t, get ready and wait for June to jump on the lottery.
