Two rounds are complete at the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial, the first PGA Tour tournament in over three months, and several star players are in the hunt heading into the weekend. Here’s everything you need to know to follow the Round 3 action live on Saturday.

Charles Schwab Challenge Round 3 preview

The second round was all about Harold Varner III. Varner, who started the day tied atop the leaderboard, teed off in the morning and was on a roll all day (except for a triple bogey on his opening hole). By the time his last putt rolled in, he had reached 11 under, good enough for a one-shot lead. Varner will have a great shot to capture his first PGA Tour win this weekend. He begins the third round at 2:10 p.m. ET.

Varner’s playing partner on Moving Day is three-time major champion Jordan Spieth. Spieth has struggled in recent years, falling all the way to 56th in the Official World Golf Ranking. But he looked like his old self on Friday, shooting his second-straight 65 to get to 10 under.

But no conversation about contenders can be complete without talking about Rory McIlroy. The World No. 1 shot an incredible 63 on Friday and sits just two shots back of Varner’s lead. Bryson DeChambeau is tied with Spieth at 10 under and will be paired with Collin Morikawa on Saturday.
