Brooks Koepka’s Wikipedia page has been edited…and the result is hilarious

Wikipedia is famous for letting anyone in the world edit its pages and add additional information to its database. The only danger is that anyone can edit anything. But sometimes, you get some really funny edits that are sure to make you laugh.

The latest Wikipedia page to receive the honor? Brooks Koepka’s, as someone decided to add that he now owns the PGA Tour and is the father of Golf Channel analyst/commentator Brandel Chamblee after his victory in the 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage Black on Sunday.

The page has since been updated to remove the latest edit, but here’s a screenshot of what it looked like before it was changed back.

Whoever edited the page is likely just one of many who believes that the 29-year-old Koepka owns the Tour right now. With four major victories coming in his last eight major appearances, Koepka has been incredibly dominant on the sport’s biggest stages. He’s on a run right now that has elevated him into some elite company with many of golf’s greatest players.

Perhaps the funnier mention is that Koepka is now Chamblee’s father. As most golf fans know well, Koepka and Chamblee have sparred over the last few months. It reached a crescendo after Koepka posted a photo of Chamblee with a clown nose on his Twitter after being slighted once again by Chamblee.

But on Sunday night after Koepka hoisted the Wanamaker Trophy for the second straight year, Chamblee heaped praise on Koepka for his back-to-back PGA Championships.

“He’s handled it mentally. He’s handled it physically. He’s handled it technically. Which is exactly what Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods did,” Chamblee said after Koepka’s win. “He’s made a believer out of me.”

It seems as if Koepka has proven Chamblee wrong and come out on top in their little feud. So maybe his new title of being Chamblee’s father is a worthy and fitting one.
