WATCH: Brooks Koepka celebrates with girlfriend, family after PGA win
Brooks Koepka put a scare into his fans late on Sunday at the 2019 PGA Championship. There’s no doubt his girlfriend Jena Sims and his family were getting nervous watching him from outside the ropes. But Koepka held it together, and they all shared in the relief afterward with the cameras watching them.
Koepka entered the final round with a seven-shot lead and a laser focus (just ask Sims). But after four-straight bogeys on holes 11-14, coupled with stellar play from his friend Dustin Johnson, the shocked defending champ found himself only one shot ahead.

But Koepka kept his cool, fighting off a wayward drive at 18 to make a steely par. Immediately after Koepka sank the six-footer to win, he let out a forceful fist-pump before finding his caddie to begin the celebrations. Here’s the winning putt:

From there, Koepka was led up the hill by a police officer through the throngs of spectators, eventually finding his shaken but relieved family waiting for him nearby.
His dad, who held up four fingers representing his son’s major wins after the final putt fell, greeted him first. After thanking his coach, Koepka kissed Sims before giving his mom a hug.
Check out the moment below.

Once he finished with his media responsibilities, Koepka and his family will be able to start the real celebrations. Given that he’s now won four majors in eight tries, he’s earned it.
