How to watch the British Open

This week’s tournament will be the 13th Open Championship contested on the storied grounds of Royal Liverpool in Hoylake. The last time the Open visited was back in 2014, when Rory McIlroy triumphed to earn his first Open title.

Fast-forward to 2023, and McIlroy is the betting favorite to pull off a Royal Liverpool repeat and take home his second Open title. But defending champion Cameron Smith, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, World No. 3 Jon Rahm and many more star players will do all they can to prevent that from happeneing.

How to watch the British Open on TV

You can watch the 2023 British Open on TV via NBC and USA. USA will air exclusive TV coverage of the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, while NBC will air lengthy broadcasts of the third and final rounds on the weekend.
