Bridgestone Invitational betting odds: DJ, Rory favorites to win at Firestone

July 30, 2018

All eyes are on the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational this week, as Tiger Woods will be playing in the tournament for the first time since 2014. Woods has won an astonishing eight times at Firestone Country Club. But that record isn’t quite enough to bump him above reigning World No. 1 Dustin Johnson in betting odds for the tournament.

According to GolfOdds.com, Johnson is the favorite at 7/1, followed by Rory McIlroy (10/1), Justin Rose (12/1) and Woods (12/1).

Johnson won the Canadian Open last week in Ontario, and he also won the Bridgestone in 2016. Last year, the Bridgestone was won by Hideki Matsuyama; his odds to repeat currently sit at 40/1.

Next year this tournament will move to Memphis, Tenn., and will be renamed the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, so this is Woods’s last shot at adding another win in Akron, Ohio.

Below are the WGC Bridgestone Invitational betting odds.
