AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am final round preview
No matter what happens on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, it’s quite certain that Jordan Spieth won’t face a scarier shot than the one he saw on Saturday afternoon. Perhaps you’ve seen it already — the three-time major champ standing cliffside, staring down the barrel of a 70-foot fall, as he lines up his approach shot. That Spieth survived making contact with his ball was nothing shy of a miracle. That he survived and managed to maintain his leaderboard position might be even more impressive.
Spieth enters Sunday’s final round at 14 under, just one stroke back of the lead set by Tom Hoge, Beau Hossler and Andrew Putnam. Another name to watch: Patrick Cantlay, who enters Sunday tied with Spieth for 4th place and just one stroke back as well. Both members of the 2021 U.S. Ryder Cup squad will look to mount Sunday comebacks at Pebble Beach.
Below, find everything you need to know about the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am’s $8.7 million purse; you can catch the action from 3-6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
