But for players like Tony Finau, who battled in his third round Sunday morning to finish with three birdies in a row, Sunday represents the last chance to qualify for the Masters. Finau has played in 33 consecutive majors, including eight straight Masters, but is not yet in the field.
A win on Sunday will also come with a $1.782 million winner’s check. The 2026 Valero Texas Open has a total purse of $9.8 million.
