The third round of the 2026 Players Championship kicks off Saturday, March 14, at TPC Sawgrass’ Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. You can find full Players Championship tee times for Saturday’s third round at the bottom of this article.
Round 3 Players tee times: What you need to know
With a double bogey to finish the opening round at one over, Jordan Spieth was just as likely to worry about the cut on Friday as he has to get into contention.
But it was the latter reality that came true. Spieth fought off a bogey on his first hole in Round 2, then drained seven birdies, including five in a row at the turn, to charge into contention at the Players Championship. Unfortunately, Spieth finished Friday’s round with another double bogey, dropping him to three under at the halfway point.
Nevertheless, Spieth will surely head into Saturday’s third round at TPC Sawgrass with designs on a huge comeback victory to cement his hot start to the season. He’ll tee off for Round 3 at 12:25 p.m. ET.
The final pairing will feature leader Ludvig Aberg (12 under) and Xander Schauffele. They tee off at 2:35 p.m. ET. The players at the bottom of the leaderboard will open Saturday’s play at 8:15 a.m. ET.
Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy will also play the weekend after both players made the cut at one over.
