It’s the eighth and final Signature Event of the PGA Tour season, and the leaderboard is filled with star power at the tournament’s halfway point.
Scottie Scheffler followed up his first-round 62 with a 69 on Friday — which was just enough to share the lead with a charging Justin Thomas, whose sizzling second round of 64 propelled him into the top spot with Scheffler at nine under overall, as well as Tommy Fleetwood, who fired rounds of 66-65.
Just behind the trio at the top is Jason Day at eight under and Denny McCarthy and Austin Eckroat at seven under.
In the second round of the 2025 Travelers Championship, Justin Thomas carded a 6-under 64, Tommy Fleetwood posted a 5-under 65 and Scottie Scheffler shot a 1-under 72 to each earn a share of the lead at 9-under par.
Thomas and Scheffler will play in Saturday’s final twosome at 2:25 p.m. ET, with Fleetwood and Day teeing off in the penultimate pairing at 2:15 p.m. ET.
