Featured tee time for Round 2
With five wins and two major titles this year, Scottie Scheffler has compiled a spectacular PGA Tour season — and it isn’t over yet.
At this week’s Tour Championship, the top 30 players on the FedEx Cup points list are competing on a level playing field for the $10 million grand prize and FedEx Cup trophy.
That means, in theory, someone could beat Scheffler in the season’s grand finale. And on Thursday, some of the Tour’s other top players posted impressive rounds. Russell Henley leads the field by two shots after posting a round of nine-under 61. But right behind him? Scheffler, whose round of seven-under 63 has him two shots back and in second place. Five players are tied for third at six under par.

In the opening round of the 2025 TOUR Championship, Russell Henley makes birdie on the par-4 17th hole.
The tee times have been pushed forward on Friday due to expected inclement weather. Scheffler and Henley will play alongside each other in the final pairing on Friday, teeing off for Round 2 at 10:44 a.m. ET.
