Things did not go to according to plan for World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler on Saturday.
The Texas native started the third round with a narrow lead. But Scheffler failed to maintain any momentum, countering three birdies with two bogeys to shoot 69 and end at 12 under.
One of his competitors had no such trouble in Round 3. Min Woo Lee took charge on Saturday, firing a seven-under 63 to take a four-shot lead at 17 under heading into Sunday’s final round. Rory McIlroy will start Sunday at nine under.
You can watch the final round of the Texas Children’s Houston Open on TV via NBC and Golf Channel. Golf Channel opens the Sunday coverage at 1 p.m. ET, followed by NBC at 3 p.m. ET.
