In most PGA Tour events, like this week’s Houston Open, the cut is made after the second round is complete. Only then can Round 3 tee times be determined. On Friday night at Memorial Park, play was called due to darkness, with many players still on the course.
We won’t know the official third-round tee times until those players finish their second rounds Saturday morning. However, the PGA Tour has said that due to a delayed start, competitors will tee off split tees in Round 3 and play in threesomes.
The tee times are expected to fall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Scottie Scheffler will have a late tee time on Saturday, thanks to his 62 on Friday. This post will be updated with the full tee times once they are released.
You can watch Saturday’s third round of the Texas Children’s Houston Open from 1-3 p.m. ET on Golf Channel and 3-6 p.m. ET on NBC. You can also stream exclusive online coverage via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ starting at 11 a.m. ET, or watch NBC’s telecast online via Peacock.
