The 2025 Rocket Classic continues Saturday with the third round at Detroit Golf Club. You can find full Rocket Classic tee times for Saturday’s third round at the bottom of this post.
Featured tee time for Round 3
What a difference a day makes. On Thursday, twenty-six-year-old Min Woo Lee looked unstoppable, posting a round of 9-under 63 to launch himself to the top of the leaderboard after the early wave. But the afternoon wave brought more low scores. And by Thursday’s end, Lee was T3, behind two players who fired rounds of 10-under 62.
Then on Friday, the bar was set even higher. Jake Knapp set a new course record with a round of 61. And a second round of one over par for Lee dropped him all the way to T36 (-8). The tournament now has three new leaders at the halfway point: Chris Kirk (65-65), Philip Knowles (66-64) and Andrew Putnam (64-66), all of whom are 14 under par.
Kirk and Knowles will tee off in the final twosome on Saturday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. ET, with Putnam and Jackson Suber (-13) playing in the penultimate pairing at 1:55 p.m. ET.
