How to watch U.S. Open on Thursday

It’s mid-June, and we’re already at the third men’s major of the year, the U.S. Open, a.k.a. the toughest test in golf, at historic Pinehurst No. 2, and all the stars are ready to get the tournament started on Thursday.

That includes World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, fresh off his fifth win of the season, who is eyeing his second major of the year and first U.S. Open title. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy, whose finished in the top 10 in the past five U.S. Opens, is looking to end his decade-long major drought with a second-career U.S. Open title. Finally, Xander Schauffele is hoping his major breakthrough at last month’s PGA Championship will open the floodgates for more major wins, starting this week.

You can watch the first round of the U.S. Open on TV all day long Thursday via USA beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET. In addition, Peacock will provide exclusive late Thursday coverage from 5-8 p.m. ET. Finally, you can watch featured hole and featured group coverage via USOpen.com, the USGA App and Peacock.
