At this time last year, Brian Harman was not a household name. That all changed in the summer. Harman, now 36, dominated Royal Liverpool to win the Open Championship by a whopping six strokes.

It was the third PGA Tour victory of his career, but it was the first major trophy he ever set his hands on. Now Harman is looking to take his game to the next level in 2024.

Harman got off to a hot start at last week’s season-opening Sentry event, where he finished T5. Now he has his sights set on the Sony Open, where he is one of the top-ranked players in the field.

Harman tees off on Thursday at 12:50 p.m. ET, and he’ll play the first two rounds alongside Matt Fitzpatrick and Justin Rose.

You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2024 Sony Open on Golf Channel starting at 7 p.m. ET. Peacock will offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage, while ESPN+ will provide featured group coverage.
