The leaderboard is tightly packed at the Rocket Mortgage Classic halfway point, but two players are enjoying a two-shot cushion over the field: Akshay Bhatia and Aaron Rai.
Both Bhatia and Rai are 13 under par. Bhatia is seeking his third career win and his second of 2024, after triumphing at the Valero Texas Open. Rai, a 29-year-old from England, is seeking his maiden PGA Tour victory.
For Saturday’s third round, Bhatia and Rai will play in the final grouping alongside Taylor Montgomery at 1:00 p.m. ET.
