2024 PGA Championship schedule: TV times, channel, streaming, dates and more

The 2024 PGA Championship, the second men’s major of the year, has arrived. The top golfers from the PGA Tour and LIV Golf are set to duke it out for major championship glory at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 PGA Championship schedule, including online streaming details, PGA TV times and more.

How to watch the 2024 PGA Championship

This week’s host course, Valhalla Golf Club, is a storied venue in PGA of America and major golf history.

The club has hosted three previous PGA Championships (1996, 2000, 2014), two Senior PGA Championships (2004, 2011), as well as the 2008 Ryder Cup, where the American team won for the first time in a decade.

The list of winners is one any venue would covet. Rory McIlroy won the 2014 PGA at Valhalla for his second PGA title and fourth major win.

In 2000, Tiger Woods triumphed at Valhalla for the third leg of the “Tiger Slam.” Both players will be in the field again this week, though in very different positions, with McIlroy one of the favorites and Woods just hoping to make it through four rounds.

But there is no question who the outright PGA favorite is: World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler has blown away the competition this year, winning four of his five last starts including the 2024 Masters, his second green jacket.

The TV coverage for the 2024 PGA Championship will be shared between ESPN and CBS, as was the case at the Masters. But unlike the Masters, the PGA will feature much more extensive telecasts. ESPN will air a total of 15 hours of coverage across the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, as well as early coverage on Saturday and Sunday. CBS then takes over for the primary broadcasts of the third and final rounds on the weekend.

Extensive streaming coverage of the 2024 PGA Championship will be available online via ESPN+ and Paramount+. ESPN+ will offer exclusive early coverage all four days at Valhalla, in addition to featured group and featured hole coverage. Paramount+ will stream CBS’s telecasts live online.
