The 2024 Open Championship begins Thursday with the first round at Royal Troon in Scotland. You can find full Open Championship tee times for Thursday’s first round at the bottom of this post.

On Thursday morning on the coast of Scotland, 158 elite pro golfers will take on historic Royal Troon in the opening movement of a battle for major championship glory, their final chance this year.

All of the stars of the PGA Tour and LIV Golf are in the field, but no one has more attention on them than World No. 2 Rory McIlroy.

The four-time major winner’s major-winning drought has reached 10 years. It nearly came to an end last month at the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2, before two short missed putts handed the title to Bryson DeChambeau.

Now McIlroy is back with his eyes still set on his fifth major victory and second Open title. On Thursday, McIlroy will tee off at 5:09 a.m. ET alongside Max Homa and Tyrrell Hatton.

Viewers in the U.S. can watch the first round of the Open beginning exclusively on Peacock at 1:30 a.m. ET. USA picks up the coverage on TV from 4 a.m.-3 p.m. ET, before coverage switches back to Peacock. Peacock will also offer featured group and featured hole coverage on Thursday.
