The 2024 Mexico Open at Vidanta begins Thursday with the opening round at Vidanta Vallarta. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online, including complete Mexico Open Thursday TV coverage.

Previewing Round 1

Since last week’s Genesis Invitational was a Signature Event and featured all the PGA Tour’s best players, many of the Tour’s stars are sitting this week out. But that’s not to say there isn’t a reason to tune in.

One fan favorite who will be in the field is Tony Finau, who topped Jon Rahm to win last year’s Mexico Open. Finau will be vying for PGA Tour win No. 7 this week.

Finau will be joined by one of the most decorated major winners of the last 20 years: Padraig Harrington. The ageless Harrington, who has three major victories, is taking some time off the PGA Tour Champions to compete with the young guns.

You can watch the Mexico Open on TV Thursday via Golf Channel beginning at 4 p.m. ET. ESPN+ will offer featured group coverage all day long. In addition, Peacock will provide a live simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage.

Below you will find everything you need to watch the first round of the 2024 Mexico Open.
