In the opening round at TPC Deere Run, Hayden Springer made history with an incredible 12-under 59, the second 59 ever shot at the John Deere Classic, and the second in three weeks on the PGA Tour.

The sparkling round gives Springer a two-shot lead heading into Round 2, setting him up for a run at his first PGA Tour victory.

For Friday’s second round, Springer will tee off at 2;55 p.m. ET alongside Zecheng Dou and Blake Hathcoat.
