Hero World Challenge Friday primer
Just weeks after becoming a new father, Justin Thomas is looking like his old self again. In Thursday’s opening round, the two-time PGA champion fired a six-under 66.
The stellar starting score was better than all but one player. Cameron Young bested Thomas by two with a 64 to take the first-round lead.
Thomas and Young will tee off together at 12:34 p.m. ET on Friday in the final pairing of the second round.
