2024 American Express Thursday tee times: Round 1 pairings

The PGA Tour’s 2024 American Express begins Thursday, January 18, with the first round at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif. You can find full American Express tee times for the opening round at the bottom of this post.

Patrick Cantlay has been among the best players in the game for a few years now. But after spending all of last season within the top 5 in the Official World Golf Ranking, he has fallen to No. 6. Now Cantlay hopes he can move up early in the new season, and it’s unlikely he’ll be satisfied for 5th.

The eight-time PGA Tour winner officially got his season-started at the shootout that is the Sentry, finishing T12 with a final score of 23 under. This week, Cantlay will make his second start of 2024 at the American Express

On Thursday, Cantlay tees off at 12:14 p.m. ET with World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. They’ll play La Quinta Country Club for Round 1.
