For Thursday’s opening round of the Zurich Classic, 80 two-player teams will compete across 18 holes. The format for Round 1 is fourballs, where each team member plays their own ball and the best score on the hole is recorded.

Among the teams to keep an eye on are defending champions Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay, last week’s RBC Heritage winner Matt Fitzpatrick and his brother Alex Fitzpatrick and 2023 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson and Steve Stricker, to name a few.
