Unlike most tournaments, the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play features fives rounds due to its unique match-play format, with the first round kicking off Wednesday morning. On Day 1, 32 round-robin matches will be contested at Austin Country Club.

Each match will feature players from one four-player group, and at the end of the first three rounds, the winner of each group advances to the knockout stage on the weekend. So getting off to a hot start with a win on Wednesday is crucial to players eyeing a victory this week.
On Day 1, Rory McIlroy will face off against Scott Stallings beginning at 11:26 a.m. ET.
