When the U.S. Open finally gets underway at LACC Thursday morning, there will be a few star-studded groups in particular to keep an eye on.
How to watch the 2023 U.S. Open: Streaming, TV schedule, online, tee times
Among the early groups, look no further than the trio going off the 1st tee at 11:13 a.m. ET. That group includes LA-native and two-time major champion Collin Morikawa, Burbank-born fan favorite Max Homa and World No. 1 and betting favorite Scottie Scheffler.
Shortly thereafter at 11:24 a.m. ET, another premier grouping begins their campaigns off the 10th tee featuring World No. 2 Jon Rahm and two players near the top of the best-without-a-major ranking: Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland.
Later in the day at 4:54 p.m. ET, a group that personifies the PGA Tour-LIV truce tees off the 1st: PGA Tour stalwart and four-time major winner Rory McIlroy, reigning PGA champion Brooks Koepka and Hideki Matsuyama.
