Previewing Day 2

The first day at the 2023 Solheim Cup was a tale of two sessions.

In the morning foursomes, the U.S. team swept the first four matches to jump out to a historic 4-0 lead. But it was a completely different story in the afternoon.

Team Europe fought back valiantly in the four-ball session, winning two matches and halving the other two to get back into the tournament.

Heading into Saturday’s matches, the Americans hold a 5-3 lead. Saturday will once again feature two sessions of four matches — one foursomes and one four-ball — with a total of eight points up for grabs.
