How to watch the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic on Thursday: Round 1 live coverage

The 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic kicks off Thursday with the first round at Detroit Golf Club. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online.

Previewing Round 1

All season long, Rickie Fowler has been threatening to end his lengthy PGA Tour win drought, which dates back to February 2019.

He nearly won the U.S. Open two weeks ago, eventually finishing T5 for his seventh top-10 finish of the year. Fowler followed it up with another solid showing at last week’s Travelers Championship, where he finished T13.

Now the five-time Tour winner heads to Detroit Golf Club for another attempt at re-entering the winner’s cicle on the PGA Tour. He’ll play Thursday’s opening round alongside defending champion Tony Finau and Joel Dahmen.

You can stream the first round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 6:45 a.m. ET on Thursday, or you can watch the telecast on Golf Channel starting at 3 p.m. ET.
