UPDATE: Round 2 play was suspended Friday afternoon due to severe weather. Once the round is finished, the cut will be made and Round 3 tee times will be determined.

ORIGINAL STORY:

As is the case with all standard professional golf tournaments, tee times for Saturday at the Masters won’t be determined until the final putt has dropped in Round 2. Once the second round is over, tee times will be determined based on a player’s score-to-par, with the players who just made the cut teeing off first in the morning, and the leaders teeing off last in the afternoon.

Ominous Masters weather forecast predicts potential chaos on Friday and Saturday
By: Kevin Cunningham

We can look to last year’s Masters to get a good idea what the Round 3 tee times will be. On Saturday at the 2022 event, Scottie Scheffler and Charl Schwartzel played in the final pairing, beginning their rounds at 2:50 p.m. ET. Mackenzie Hughes and Adam Scott got the round started in the first pairing at 10:20 a.m. ET.

As long as the weather holds off Friday night, you can expect tomorrow’s tee times to fall in a similar window. However, if rain delays Round 2 on Friday, players may need to finish their rounds Saturday morning before the third round can begin. That could push back third-round starting times.

Adding further complications is the Masters forecast for Saturday, which calls for rain all day long that could impact play.

You can stream Saturday’s third round via ESPN+, Masters.com and the Masters App or watch the action on TV via CBS.
