The second round of the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational kicks off Friday morning with the second round at Bay Hill in Florida Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 2 on TV or online.
Previewing API Round 2
After losing the top ranking to Jon Rahm two weeks ago, Scottie Scheffler is intent on reclaiming the No. 1 position in the Official World Golf Ranking. He’s also the defending champion this week at Bay Hill, and both truths factored in heavily to his strong opening round.
Scheffler shot a four-under 68 on Thursday as part of the morning wave, putting him near the top of the leaderboard. Unfortunately for Scheffler’s ranking hopes, Rahm bested him by three, shooting a 65 to take the first-round lead.
For Friday’s second round, Scheffler will switch to an afternoon tee time, and unlike Thursday, he’ll begin his round on Bay Hill’s 1st hole at 12:28 p.m. ET.
