Thompson began the third round with a two-shot advantage over Rahm, and he showed no signs of backing down, carding a five-under 67 to reach 23 under. But Rahm played even better, shooting a 65 to catch Thompson for a share of the lead.

With the closest chasers a distant four shots behind, the focus on Sunday will be on whether the proven veteran or the up-and-comer will come out on top in the end,

Rahm and Thompson tee off in the final grouping with J.T. Poston on Sunday at 1:45 p.m. ET. You can stream Sunday’s final round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+.
