Last month at the 2022 Presidents Cup, the U.S. won in commanding fashion on home turf at Quail Hollow. But it wasn’t all bad news for the International team. One of their players became a certified superstar: 20-year-old Tom Kim.
The up-and-coming pro had made a name for himself last year with his humor and impressive play (including a win at the 2022 Wyndham Championship), and he took it to another level at the Presidents Cup.
Now Kim will make his first appearance since that defining event this week at the Shriners, where he will try and claim his second-career PGA Tour victory.
Kim will play the opening round alongside Max Homa and Si Woo Kim. They tee off Thursday morning at 10:24 a.m. ET. You can stream Thursday’s first round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+.
