The 2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational begins this week at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament.
Arnold Palmer Invitational preview
Defending champion Bryson DeChambeau won’t be teeing it up this week as he continues to recover from injury, but another former champion is, and his chances are looking good. Rory McIlroy won the Arnold Palmer back in 2018, and he finished T10 in last year’s edition.
The four-time major champion has only played one PGA Tour tournament so far this year, but his most recent finishes dating back to a win at the CJ Cup in October are impressive: 1, T6, T12, 3, T10. So look for McIlroy to make a run at the winner’s circle on Sunday.
McIlroy will be joined in Bay Hill by the likes of World No. 1 Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, Hideki Matsuyama, Viktor Hovland and Will Zalatoris, to name a few, setting up one of the best fields golf fans have seen so far this year.
Extensive coverage of this year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational will be provided by Golf Channel and NBC on TV, and PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ and Peacock online for those who prefer to stream the tournament.
