Notable groupings for QBE Shootout Round 1
Some of the biggest stars in pro golf are sitting out this week at the QBE Shootout, but the small field still features some serious firepower. Look no further than Will Zalatoris. The rising PGA Tour star took home Rookie of the Year honors in 2021, despite not even being a full member of the Tour.
Now with full status, Zalatoris is looking to make an even bigger mark on the game in 2022. But first he’s teeing it up alongside veteran Sean O’Hair, who will look to navigate the scramble format for Friday’s opening round to get out in front early.
Team Zalatoris/O’Hair will get their tournament started in the first grouping at 9:45 a.m. ET on Friday, and they’ll be paired with the team of Matt Jones and Ryan Palmer. Other notable groupings to look out for on Day 1 are Lexi Thompson/Bubba Watson and Harris English/Matt Kuchar, all of whom tee off at 11 a.m. ET.
