2021 QBE Shootout live coverage: How to watch Round 1 on Friday

The 2021 QBE Shootout kicks off Friday morning at Tiburon Golf Club in Florida. Here’s what you need to know to watch the first round on TV or online.

Previewing QBE Shootout Round 1

This week golf fans will be treated to different, refreshing tournament format from the typical stroke-play PGA Tour event. The QBE Shootout features 12 teams of two players, competing together for the team crown. The format for Friday’s opening round will be a scramble, in which each player hits a tee shot before choosing the better ball and each playing their second shot from that spot, and so on.

Two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson is one of the most decorated pros in the field. Bubba is teaming up with another major champion: LPGA star Lexi Thompson, who is making her fifth appearance in the event. They’ll do their best to steal the trophy from defending champions Matt Kuchar and Harris English. The four of them will tee off in the same group on Friday at 11 a.m. ET.
