Notable groupings for 3M Open Round 3
Rickie Fowler was the story of the day on Thursday, going bogey-free to lead the field along with Troy Merritt at seven under par. Unfortunately, Fowler’s game cooled off a bit on Friday, and he tumbled down the leaderboard into T26 after signing for a round of two-over 73.
The 36-hole co-leaders are Adam Hadwin and Ryan Armour at 10 under par. They’ll play together with Bo Hoag in the final pairing on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. ET, while Fowler, now five strokes behind, will play with Scott Stallings and Rafa Cabrera Bello at 11:26 a.m. ET.
Another player to keep an eye on? Louis Oosthuizen, who fired a second-straight 68 to reach six under overall. He’s four shots back and currently tied for 19th. He’ll play alongside Sung Kang and K.H. Lee at 11:59 a.m. ET.
Other notable tee times for the third round include Keegan Bradley, Troy Merritt and Gary Woodland (12:21 p.m. ET); and Denny McCarthy, Brandt Snedeker and Matthew Wolff (10:53 a.m. ET).
