
The Masters may be postponed but Augusta National looks plenty ready

The azaleas? In bloom. The greens? Green. Rae’s Creek? Menacing.
The Masters will not be played this week, the season’s first major postponed until Nov. 12-15 due to the coronavirus.
Augusta National appears to be already ready.
On Monday, the tournament’s social media accounts posted 11 photos of the property. Shots of the clubhouse. The second, eighth, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th 16th and 18th holes. On Instagram, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau were among the pros who liked the reminder of awaits them at the end of the year.
“Quiet scenes from Augusta as the world of golf awaits November 9-15, the intended dates for the 2020 Masters,” the Twitter and Instagram posts said.
